| Description: | Granted annually to students in the Bachelor of Integrated Studies Program (BIS) in the Fall semester (September) at UPEI and are in the greatest financial need. Preference to students entering their first year of study. |
| Background: | Scotiabank's focus in education is on direct student support, including scholarships or programs and facilities that will improve access to learning. As Canada's most international bank, Scotiabank has formed some unique partnerships between Canadian institutions and those in the countries where they do business. The University of Prince Edward Island is pleased to receive a $100,000 commitment from Scotiabank in support of scholarships. |
