  PEI ANC Information Sessions for International Students, Thursday and Friday

	Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9 (11:30 am-1:30 pm)
	in MacMillan Hall, Murphy Student Centre
	PEI ANC staff will talk about providing registered International Students with assistance such as: 
	• how to register with PEI ANC
	• help to find employment, 
	• how to access help with applications for permits, visas, and other documents, 
	• workshops and other information sessions on many topics, 
	• opportunities to meet others in the community for social events, 
	• invitations to be matched with English tutors or participate in conversation circles, 
	• opportunities to volunteer and gain Canadian work experience, 
	• what is on the Online Guide for Newcomers to Canada at peianc.com and Facebook site, 
	• and an electronic mailing list you can join to get notices about community events and workshop and job opportunities
	To register for serivces on the spot, students should bring a photocopies of their passport (photo-page only) and student visa.
