Amy Andrews
Manager of Entrepreneurship

Amy Andrews graduated from UPEI in 2016 with a Diploma in Engineering. She then went on to complete her Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from UNB in 2019, followed by a Master’s in Engineering (Technology Management and Entrepreneurship) in 2020. During her time at UPEI and UNB Amy was an active member of their respective rugby teams. She co-founded LifeTrack Safety Systems Ltd., which operated from 2018 to 2023. Following her studies, Amy contributed to the J Herbert Smith Centre for Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at UNB, where she supported entrepreneurial students in their ventures. 


Jeremy Heartz
Entrepreneurship Program Officer

Jeremy Heartz graduated from UPEI in 2020 with his Bachelor's of Business Administration, specializing in entrepreneurship, and in 2021 with his Master's of Business Administration (Global Leadership) degrees. During his time as a student, he spent time working on initiatives that put him in close contact with students of other fields of study, such as the Baja SAE team and running a 150-person basketball group. After graduating Jeremy spent time working with startup companies at Innovation PEI as a Small Business Development Officer and worked with Holland College teaching their Accounting Technology program in China at the Jiangxi Vocational College of Finance and Economics.


Reefah Shehnaz

Reefah Shehnaz graduated from Dalhousie University in 2025 from the Bachelor of Commerce Co-op program, majoring in Managing People and Organizations. As a student, Reefah gained hands-on experience at Dal Innovates by helping organize and deliver key entrepreneurial programs such as the Collide Discover and Validate.


Yoelle Ragazzo Calderón

Yoelle Ragazzo Calderón is an undergrad student at UPEI studying Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in entrepreneurship and graduating in 2027. During her time as a student, she has been a member of the UPEI Squash Recreational Club and she leads student societies such as UPEI Latin Society. Within the McDougall Faculty of Business, she serves as a peer mentor, supporting first-year students as they transition to university. She also coordinates the International Buddy Program, helping first-year international students build connections and navigate their experience at UPEI. Outside of the University, she is a community member who volunteers for Lung NSPEI, Latinos Association of PEI, and the PEI Museum of Heritage Foundation.
