Join us for an Afternoon of Cultural Art and Connection at The Mount Continuing Care Community!
The Mount Continuing Care Community offers quality care and support to seniors in a warm and welcoming environment. We invite you to join us for an afternoon of service where you'll share your culture and create art with the residents.
Here's how it works:
- Creative Expression: You will be provided with a 3x3 mini canvas to create a piece of art inspired by your culture. This could include painting an animal significant to your heritage, drawing a landmark from home, or creating an abstract piece using your country's flag colors. Let your creativity shine!
- Cultural Exchange: While you and the residents create art together, you'll have the opportunity to share stories about your culture, traditions, and experiences.
- Community Showcase: All the artwork created during this event will be featured in the second annual Mini Canvas Exhibition, showcased at Blank Canvas Art Supplies (10 Prince St., Charlottetown, PE) from February 4 to March 2, 2025. Learn more about the exhibition here.
