Students can earn a bursary ranging from $750 to $1,500! 

Team Food Island is a bursary incentive program to encourage students under the age of 30 to gain summer work experience in the Seafood Processing, Agriculture or Aquaculture sectors. High school students (including this year’s grads) planning on returning to full-time studies in the fall are eligible for a $750 bursary, while post-secondary students can qualify for a bursary of $1500. 

Step 1: Register for the Team Food Island Bursary Program at www.teamfoodisland.ca
Step 2: Apply for jobs or get contacted by participating employers through the website 
Step 3: Meet the minimum required work hours (250 for high school students, 500 for post-secondary students) without unexcused absences 
Step 4: At the end of your work term, your employer pays you your bursary directly.
