Under the direction of the Sipekne’katik Post Majority Support Services Program Director, the Post Majority Youth Navigator will provide comprehensive assistance to youth and young adults, guiding them in areas that foster their growth, development, and well-being. This role will also support youth through out the
applications process for the final settlement agreement on compensation with Canada, ensuring they receive the services to which they are entitled. Specifically, the Post Majority Navigator will focus on assisting Sipekne’katik youth and young adults who were removed from their homes on reserve as children under the terms of the agreement. The position is designed to empower these individuals, helping them navigate the complexities of the compensation process while promoting their overall personal development and access to vital services.
