Earlier this month, UPEI reached a tentative agreement with CUPE 501 after just two days of negotiations. This new collective agreement has now been ratified by both parties.

To negotiate new collective agreements, the University and UPEI Faculty Association met on May 29, with additional meetings scheduled through June and July. 

UPEI recently received Notice to Bargain from the two Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) bargaining units at UPEI.
