We’re excited to announce the return of the BIPOC Support Group, offered through UPEI’s Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Program.

This group is designed to offer a safe and supportive space for Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color to connect, share, and reflect on common experiences. Our goal is to foster community and promote well-being through guided support sessions. The group is open to all members of the PEI BIPOC community.

What to Expect:

  • Open Format Discussion: Time to share experiences, challenges, and successes in a supportive environment.
  • Skills Training: Some sessions will introduce therapeutic strategies
  • Flexible Attendance: This is an open group, so new participants may join at any time.

You’re also free to stop attending whenever you choose—no commitment required.

If you have any questions or would like to join the group, feel free to reach out (miconte@ptc.upei.ca or uhhapangama@ptc.upei.ca). We look forward to welcoming you.
