Celebrate our 2024 Founders on December 18

Dr. Wendy Rodgers, President and Vice-Chancellor, cordially invites you and your guests to attend the Recognition of Founders Ceremony on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to honour this year's Founders: Vickie Johnston, Dr. Michael Liu, and the Saint Dunstan’s University Board of Governors.

One way that the University of Prince Edward Island honours its rich heritage and traditions is acknowledging people who have contributed to it in an exceptional way, naming them “Founders.” Recognizing founders is an important event where we take the time to recognize the pioneers who have helped shape our University. It’s an opportunity to honour those who have worked diligently and passionately to build the University into the highly regarded institution of higher education it is today.
