PhD Environmental Sciences Research Presentation
The Faculty of Science Graduate Studies Committee is hosting a PhD Environmental Sciences Research Presentation on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 12:30 pm in the Duffy Science Centre, Room 204.
Luke Poirier, BSc, MSC will present: Identification, control and mitigation of marine invasions.
This public presentation is part of Mr. Poirier’s PhD Comprehensive exam and will be followed by an oral examination.

Research on Tap returns for its sixth season of public discussion, debate, and ideas presented by researchers from the University of Prince Edward Island. Join our next conversation on Monday, March 2 at 7:00 pm at the Haviland Club in Charlottetown. Dr. Neb Kujundzic, associate professor of philosophy and dean of the Faculty of Arts, will lead a discussion entitled: What good is a university degree?
The 2014/2015 season of Research on Tap is presented in cooperation with the Royal Society of Canada (RSC), Atlantic Chapter. The RSC is Canada’s national academy and is the senior national body of distinguished scholars, artists, and scientists.

Master of Education Thesis Defence
Brittany A. E. Jakubiec will present her Master of Education Thesis Defense on Tuesday, March 10 at 9:30 am in Memorial Hall, room 308. Brittany's thesis is titled: The Lived Experiences of Female Leaders in Two University Settings: Perceived Supports, Barriers, and Challenges. All are welcome to attend.
Robertson Library Book Sale
Robertson Library, in conjunction with the UPEI Biology Society, will be holding a used book sale on Friday, March 6, 12:00 - 6:00 pm and Saturday, March 7, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm in Room 302/303 (upper level) of the Robertson Library. (Storm date the following weekend, same time.)
Come and browse through a great collection of books - there is something for everyone. Proceeds from the book sale help support the Library's collection.
