The Atlantic Veterinary College currently has a male beagle named Roddy available for adoption. He is two years old, neutered, and vaccinated; a dental cleaning will be included with his adoption. Roddy is a silly puppy with a lot of energy and loves to run and play. He loves to play with other beagles and has not shown any signs of aggression. However, Roddy doesn’t always pick up on other dog’s social cues, and sometimes other dogs become agitated with his playfulness.

Roddy would thrive in a house with a family that is able to spend a lot of time training and exercising with Roddy. It is preferable that he is placed in a home where the owners are home most of the day. Single-pet and multi-pet households would be considered if it was the right fit.

If you are interested in learning more about Roddy, please contact Melissa Hamel at mhamel@upei.ca or 902-566-0938.
