MMS Seminar Series: Dr. Saurabh Chitnis

As part of the Molecular and Macromolecular Seminar Series, Dr. Saurabh Chitnis, visiting faculty from Dalhousie University, will be presenting a talk on "Orbital engineering of main-group compounds for new reactivity".

Abstract: Besides steric and electronic tuning, geometric deformation of molecules away from their VSEPR structures offers another way of introducing new reactivity. This talk will focus on the use of geometric deformation as a strategy for eliciting new reactivity with antimony and bismuth compounds.

All are welcome to attend.
