UPEI Panthers this Week (February 9–15)
The UPEI Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. At their home games, senior players will be recognized for their contributions to their respective sports.
Friday, February 13
AT HOME:
6:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Basketball Panthers host the St. Francis Xavier X-Women at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. Senior players Devon Lawlor, Grace Lancaster, Elise Plaschka, Sydney Lawlor, and Samantha Zoffranieri will be recognized.
Chiara Esposito and Owen Smith named UPEI Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week
Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The UPEI Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 2–8 are Chiara Esposito (women’s hockey) and Owen Smith (men’s basketball).
New book published by UPEI Modern Languages professor
Dr. Marie Pascal, assistant professor in the UPEI Department of Modern Languages, has published a new book titled L’abject sublime dans la transcréation au Canada.
