Tenure Track Faculty Candidate History of Atlantic Canada Research Talk
The Department of History invites members of the campus community to attend the upcoming tenure-track faculty candidate presentation.
Dr. Hilary Grant will present “Making Time: Heritage, Modernity and Everyday Life in Atlantic Canada” on Wednesday, April 29, from 1:30–3:00 PM in SDU Main Building, Room 213.

UPEI PhD graduate and Honorary Degree recipient Dr. Olive Bryanton receives Top 7 Over 70 Atlantic Award
Dr. Olive Bryanton (UPEI LLD 2000) is one of seven Atlantic Canadians who will honoured for significant new achievements after the age of 70 at the inaugural Top 7 Over 70 Atlantic Awards Gala on May 14 at the Halifax Convention Centre, Nova Scotia.
Health PEI Welcomes 10 New Nurse Practitioners Graduates

Health PEI is pleased to announce the hiring of 10 newly graduated Nurse Practitioners (NPs), who will begin joining health care teams across the province in May and June, with additional hiring anticipated in the coming months.
Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering Student Design Expo
The University of Prince Edward Island’s Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) will showcase the best in sustainable design engineering by its students at the annual Student Design Expo on Friday, April 24 starting at 1:00 pm. Projects can be viewed through the afternoon until 3:30 pm. Student projects will be presented in person. Each project is the result of collaboration between FSDE students and an industry or community partner. Students were tasked with designing and creating solutions to their partners’ unique challenges.

Kick-off for Robertson Library Renovations
Because of the generous support of many to "Love our Library"—the Robertson Library Revitalization Campaign, we are thrilled to announce that phase one renovations will officially begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, and continue through the second half of August.
