Come join us at an OPEN HOUSE for the UPEI Health and Wellness Centre as we welcome our newest member Lynne Fraser, Nurse Practitioner. The UPEI Health and Wellness Centre has expanded its hours of operation and will be open five days per week on a year-round basis. The Centre is also providing care to faculty, staff, and immediate family (spouse, partner, and children). Join us from 1:00 - 2:30 pm on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the UPEI Health and Wellness Centre on the second floor (north) of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre (above the bookstore). Tea/coffee and finger foods will be served!

The Faculty of Education formally announces the upcoming PhD defence by Brittany Jakubiec titled "Out of the Box: Queerying Identity Development for Sexual and Gender Minority Youth in Prince Edward Island".
All are welcome to attend Brittany's public presentation, taking place on Tuesday February 26, 2019 from 2:00 - 2:30 pm in the Irving Chemistry Centre, room 104.

Join us Wednesday, March 13th for this year's Career and Summer Job Fair!
This event is free to attend for all post-secondary Students, and offers a great opportunity to meet with employers and recruiters to start networking, find a summer job, or kick start a career. Be prepared to present yourself professionally.
The event will take place in MacMillan Hall in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre, and will run from 10:30am until 3:00pm with a storm date on Thursday, March 14th.
This year's fair will be co-hosted by UPEI Career Services and the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering and will feature employers from various industries across PEI and the Maritimes.

FSDE Graduate Research Seminar
The topic for this week's Graduate Seminar in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering is "Networking with Purpose", given by Dr. Amy Hsiao, FSDE Graduate Studies Coordinator based on a National Initiative on Capacity Building and Knowledge Creation in Engineering Leadership (NICKEL) workshop.
While the topic will be focused for FSDE graduate students, all are welcomed to attend.

The Power of Positive Parenting
All fathers and mothers, grandfathers, and grandmothers, and anyone who cares for children is invited to a series of Triple P Positive Parenting Seminars. There are three sessions, and the first (rescheduled from February 13th due to weather) is on Wednesday, February 20th at 7:00 in the evening, at the Murphy Community Centre on Richmond Street in Charlottetown. The first week’s topic is “The Power of Positive Parenting”. Dr. Philip Smith, Psychology, is the presenter. Sessions are free, and childcare is available.
