UPEI is a proud partner with the Université Sainte-Anne’s Canada Research Chair in Acadian and Francophone Studies (Chaire de recherche du Canada en études acadiennes et francophones), the Research Institute on Acadian and Francophone Culture in the Contemporary World (Institut de recherche sur les cultures acadiennes et francophones dans le monde contemporain), the Department of French Studies (Département d'études françaises), the Atlantic Consulat Général de France, the Halifax Alliance française, and Mount Allison University to present the conference, “Media and political discourses in the French-speaking world: a look at ‘words of order’” (Discours médiatiques et politiques en francophonie : un regard sur les «mots d'ordre»).

After providing health care to students at the University of Prince Edward Island for the past 30 years, Dr. David Reid has retired from the UPEI Health and Wellness Centre. Dr. Reid began practising at the health centre at UPEI in 1991, making him one of the longest serving doctors on the campus.
The last time we saw the UPEI’s women’s hockey team, they were among the best teams in the country getting ready to battle for a national medal following a thrilling and emotional playoff run.
