Dr. Gail Macartney, Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Professor, UPEI Faculty of Nursing, is co-leader of a pan-Canadian Oncology Symptom Triage and Remote Support (COSTaRS) project to assist cancer patients deal with treatment-related symptoms in their homes.

Six veterinary students from the Atlantic Veterinary College showcased their skills and knowledge at the 2024 Animal Welfare Assessment Contest in November in Wisconsin, winning three top awards. 

PEI lobster fisher Marlene Chapman will give a talk titled “How adaptive is the PEI lobster fishery? An exploration of climate change and the social structures influencing the local fishery” on December 10, 2024, at 7 pm, in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building, UPEI.
