UPEI’s Applied Communication, Leadership, and Culture (ACLC) program will host three public lectures featuring new research on the ways that maps and other geospatial data shape regional development.

New UPEI students will be in close contact with the Charlottetown community on Saturday, September 14, as UPEI New Student Orientation (NSO) holds its annual Panthers for Change event. 

This weekend the UPEI Turf Field sees its first regular season action of the 2019–2020 season, and UPEI Men’s Hockey plays an exhibition game at home.

On Thursday, September 26, Dr. Alan MacEachern will present “A Child of the ’60s: Creating the University of Prince Edward Island” at 7:00 pm in the Faculty Lounge of SDU Main Building. 

Dr. Terry Whitebeach is an esteemed Australian young adult novelist, biographer and historian, poet, creative writing mentor, community developer, and social activist from Tasmania.

The UPEI Department of Music Recital Series begins its 2019–2020 season on Saturday, September 14, at 7:30 pm at the Dr. Steel Recital Hall, featuring new piano professor, Magdalena von Eccher, in collaboration with clarinettist Karem J. Simon.

The UPEI Student Union (UPEISU) is celebrating its own version of the PEI Famous Five.* This year’s executive features President Emma Drake, Vice-President Academic and External Sweta Daboo, Vice-President Student Life Tessa Rogers, and Vice-President Finance and Administration Keesha Ryan, marking the first time in 50 years of UPEISU history that all four executive positions are held by women.
