The Mount Continuing Care Community invites UPEI students to a Welcome Back Volunteer Mixer on Friday, January 23, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to discover volunteer roles at The Mount, socialize with residents, and connect with fellow students. Staff will be available to answer questions and provide volunteer materials.

Panther Hockey icon Greg Gravel to be inducted into UPEI Sports Hall of Fame
The University of Prince Edward Island will honour one of the defining figures in its men’s hockey history with the induction of Greg Gravel into the UPEI Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, January 23, at 4:15 pm, in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre.
The business-casual event is part of UPEI Hockey’s annual Alumni Day celebrations. It will include appetizers and a cash bar and is open to the public.

UPEI nursing students participate in Population Health Conference
Fourth-year UPEI nursing students in the Nursing and Population (N4010) course showcased the population health projects they worked on this semester at the Population Health Conference on December 2, 2025.
During the conference, held at UPEI’s W.A. Murphy Student Centre, students demonstrated how they applied theoretical knowledge to their population health projects. They also strengthened their professional presentation skills and connected with faculty, peers, and leaders from rural and urban communities across the province.
