UPEI welcomes public to its first New Year's Levee since 2020
Festive greetings and good wishes filled the air as guests were welcomed to the New Year’s Levee held by the University of Prince Edward Island and the UPEI Alumni Association on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Shown here: Dr. Greg Keefe, interim president and vice-chancellor, shares a chuckle with former UPEI Student Union president Emma Drake, who now lives and works in Ottawa. The well-attended event, which took place in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering Building, was the first levee held at UPEI since 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

UPEI to host annual New Year’s Levee
The University of Prince Edward Island and the UPEI Alumni Association are hosting their annual New Year's Levee, and all are welcome to attend.
The levee will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2023, from 11:30 am–1:00 pm in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering Building, University of Prince Edward Island, 550 University Avenue, Charlottetown.
Dr. Christopher Power contributes to research about gaming and people with disabilities
Dr. Christopher Power, an associate professor with the UPEI School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, has written an article about the newest entry to the God of War series of games. In the article, he discusses how his research has contributed to creating a more level playing field for people who have disabilities in the gaming community.
