UPEI Panthers fortify blueline with former NCAA Division I-athlete Wasyn Rice

UPEI’s women’s hockey team is reinforcing their blueline for the stretch run. Twenty-one-year-old Wasyn Rice joins the Panthers, playing defence and bringing a wealth of experience that should pay dividends during the second half of the season and when they host the 2022 U Sports Women’s Hockey Championship currently scheduled from March 24–27.

Master in Global Affairs program safely wraps up first semester in Europe

After being on pause for the 2020–21 academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UPEI Master in Global Affairs program was off to a good start for the 2021 Fall Academic Semester.

Twenty-one Master in Global Affairs students spent the first half of the semester in Madrid, Spain, and the second half in Strasbourg, France. In this photo, two MGA students are seen at the Council of Europe’s main building, the Palais de l’Europe, where they attended the World Forum for Democracy as part of their experiential learning.
