UPEI's Executive MBA program offers a high-quality learning experience for working business professionals. The program is designed for those working in, or aspiring to work in a management or leadership position. Classes are offered bi-weekly on Fridays and Saturdays with the option to complete the program in 20 months.

AVC faculty member recognized for service and educational work in Canada and Kenya

Dr. John VanLeeuwen, professor of epidemiology and ruminant health management at the Atlantic Veterinary College, has won the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty’s 2021 Mentor Award for his international development work in Canada and Kenya.

Dr. VanLeeuwen has travelled to Kenya 29 times, supervising veterinary students in their international rotations, and providing veterinary service and education to smallholder dairy farmers, among other work. Current student funding is provided by Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships and Global Affairs Canada. 

Panthers ride Ellsworth’s star power on historic night

On a night when Jenna Mae Ellsworth became UPEI's all-time leading scorer, the Panthers made easy work of the Cape Breton Capers in an 80-46 win. 

Ellsworth broke Jennifer Johnston's record with 49 seconds remaining in the first half, when she drove hard to the basket and made a tough layup for points 1,359 and 1,360. Ellsworth recorded her second double-double of the season, as she finished with a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds in just 29 minutes of action. 

Stress & Anxiety Essentials Workshop presentation lead by CMHA

This presentation provides a high-level overview of how stress and anxiety might impact work. It takes a particular focus on anxiety in the workplace and guides participants through the MHW 3-Gear method of addressing it.

By the end of this session, participants will:.

- Be exposed to an accessible and evidence based introduction to stress and anxiety.

- Begin to see stress and anxiety in terms of balance and barriers.

- Start to understand how to talk openly about anxiety

Service of Remembering

The Chaplaincy Centre is hosting a multi-faith opportunity to remember our loved ones who have died.

The event will include representatives from the UPEI Muslim Student Association, UPEI Mawi'omi Student Centre, UPEI Canadian Catholic Student Association, and Great Wisdom Buddhist Institute, sharing their traditions around death and remembrance.
