Candidate Seminar for Canada Research Chair in Veterinary Epidemiology

The Department of Health Management will be interviewing three candidates for the Canada Research Chair tenure-track faculty position in Veterinary Epidemiology. As part of the interview process, each candidate has been asked to present two brief seminars: one suitable for graduate student level and the other a presentation of their research.

Our third candidate will be on-campus August 19 and August 20.

MBA in Global Leadership students discuss leadership with retired US Army General

George Casey Jr., a retired four-star general and former chief of staff for the U.S. Army, recently presented to students in UPEI’s MBA in Global Leadership program. General Casey discussed leadership in an era of volatility, complexity, and uncertainty, and pointed to his experience as commanding general of the world’s largest and most complex organization, the 1.6 million-member U.S. Army.

Moncton native Mireille Martin commits to UPEI Women’s Hockey

Bruce Donaldson, head coach of UPEI Women’s Hockey, announced today that Mireille Martin has committed to the Panthers for the 2019–2020 season. Martin is a forward from Moncton, New Brunswick.

“Mireille brings a sense of maturity to her game,” said Donaldson. “She sees the ice exceptionally well and is a great passer. When you watch Mireille on the ice, you can tell that she loves to play the game. She is always watching the play and getting herself in open spots to create opportunities.”
