Over 1000 participants aged 11-16 from around the Atlantic provinces will compete at the multi-sport and cultural event that celebrates Acadian and francophone culture. The UPEI Men's and Women's Hockey Panthers will be at Sobeys in Stratford on Saturday, July 4 participating in the PEI segment of the annual, coast-to-coast Five Hole for Food tour. The tour travels from the East Coast to the West Coast playing ball hockey for local food banks. Beginning with a simple idea, the annual tour has not strayed from its humble beginnings. To take part, all you need is a hockey stick and a can of food. The rest is supplied. Will you play hockey for food? Sign up your team on the PEI Five Hole for Food facebook page.
