UPEI 3rd Annual Dump n' Run

Currently there are collection sites on campus, in each of the residences, collecting items that would generally be tossed at the end of the academic year by students (e.g., used furniture, clothing, books, sports equipment, and kitchen ware). This Saturday we will be selling all collected items in a yard-sale fashion from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Last year we were successful in diverting more than 1,000 pounds of items from waste! All proceeds from the Dump n' Run go to helping with 2011 Environmental Society initiatives. It’s free admission, and beginning at 9:00am another group will be partnering with us to sell used jewerly, all proceeds going to aid Japan following the past month’s earthquakes. Hope to see you there!
