Recognizing Signs of Animal Abuse
AVC students, faculty and staff are invited to Part 1 of the CVMA Animal Welfare Lecture Series, which will focus on recognizing the signs of animal abuse. Dr. Alice Crook from the Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre will be speaking on how to recognize animal abuse in veterinary practice. Lunch will be provided.
Legal Aspects of Documenting & Reporting Suspected Cases of Animal Abuse
AVC students, staff and faculty are invited to Part II of the CVMA Animal Welfare Lecture Series. A lawyer who practices veterinary law, Doug C. Jack, LLB, will be discussing the importance of properly documenting and reporting suspected cases of animal abuse in veterinary practice. Lunch will be provided.
