The Lab2Market Program is a 16-week program to help researchers validate their ideas with the purpose of finding business/commercial value.
Lab2Market has partnered with NSERC to pilot an adaptation of their Idea to Innovation (I2I) Market Assessment Grant. The program offers participants the tools and support needed to complete their own market assessment and, with their findings, help them prepare for the NSERC I2I Phase I proposal.
If you're a primary investigator, post-doc, or graduate student looking to learn about the entrepreneurial potential of your research, please reach out to the Office of Commercialization, Industry, and Innovation for assistance with assessment of your idea and proposal prior to starting the application. Email: OCII@upei.ca or call 902-566-6095

Everyday thousands of phishing emails attempt to penetrate the UPEI network. Security tools and solutions block the vast majority. But on occasion, a phish gets in and attempts to wreak havoc with the UPEI user community.
This past week was indicative of this as a phish made its way into some of your email inboxes. Many of the campus community recognized this as a phish, reported it to ITSS by forwarding the email to phishing@upei.ca and then deleting the phishing attempt. Being cyber aware helped ITSS reduce the impact of this attempt.
Training and education can help strengthen your cyber awareness at work and at home. Cyber awareness training (CAT) is available to the UPEI staff and faculty through Beauceron.
Visit https://go.upei.ca/cybersafe/ to access a series of cyber awareness training modules.
Be Cyber Safe!
Use the CAT to catch a Phish.
