The Biology Department invites the campus community to a research talk presented by Dr. Patrick Murphy, candidate for a tenure-track faculty position in Biology. The title of the talk is "Unraveling Metabolic Regulation with Proteomics and Metabolomics" and will be held on Monday, December 17th at 1:00 p.m. in Duffy Science Centre 204. All are welcome.

The Faculty of Education invites all to attend Amanda Brazil's public presentation of her PhD research titled:Everyone goes home: Exploring the implicit learning of critical incidents in the volunteer fire service.

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 18 at 9:30 am, the presentation has been moved up to Monday, December 17 at 2:45 pm in Memorial Hall 417 due to impending weather. 

 

Once again MHW will be hosting “Let’s Listen”, UPEI’s Mental Health Week Wrap-up event. We are looking for up to six members of the UPEI community (students, faculty, and staff) who would be willing to share their personal and/or supportive experience with mental health. You would be asked to speak for approximately 5 minutes in a safe, relaxed, and non-judgmental environment, and then engage in small group discussions with the support of professional staff as co-facilitators. You will have the full support of a representative from the UPEI Counselling Services to prepare and work with you throughout the presentation.
