Learning is an action that only the student can own and control. As an instructor, what can be done to help a student maximize his/her learning capabilities? In this workshop, instructors will learn about three key skills that contribute to more efficient and effective learning. Those skills are how to take notes, how to read for learning, and how to study effectively.

Offered by the E-Learning Office, this workshop is available on two separate dates. Wednesday, November 22 or Tuesday, November 28 from 1:00-2:00 pm in Rm 265, Robertson Library. Register!

A big "Thank-you!" to the group that gathered a few weeks back to ponder options for the popular exam chili lunches. Thanks to them, the Chaplaincy Centre Exam Chili tradition will be back for its twentieth year with a few new twists!

The menu will be internationalized, nutrition will be increased, and garbage decreased. This year the UPEI Student Union has stepped up as chefs from The Wave will take on the coordination of an event that fed more than 700 students during the last examination period.

Members of the University community who are looking to part with bowls and soup size spoons, please feel free to bring them to the Chaplaincy Centre!

Each semester 30-35 staff and faculty members volunteer to set up, serve and clean up - stay tuned for ways to get involved!
