Recognizing Remarkable Colleagues continues to be a meaningful way for our community to celebrate one another. Since the program began last August, 242 submissions have highlighted the exceptional work, dedication, and kindness of our colleagues.
Thanks to the ongoing interest and participation, submissions will continue to be featured in upcoming issues of Campus Connector. You can read submissions for June, 2026 (organized in alphabetical order) below.
FIFA World Cup Watch Party with UPEI Student Union
Doors open at 3:00 pm
Game starts at 4:00 pm
Kitchen and bar will be open. No outside food or beverages allowed.
All ages welcome.
It is free to attend, but we are encouraging non-perishable donations to the food bank.
PEI Sports Hall of Fame Induction
Induction ceremony for Colin MacAdam, Vernon Frizzell and Ed Hilton to take place at UPEI on Saturday July 11.

UPEI and CUPE 1870 celebrate new collective agreement
The University of Prince Edward Island and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 1870) marked the ratification of a new collective agreement with a ceremony and cake on June 23 in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall. UPEI reached an agreement with CUPE 1870, which represents administrative and support staff at UPEI, following 3.5 days of bargaining in May.
