First-Year Course Planning Help Session at Robertson Library

First-year course registration for the upcoming academic year opens on April 8, 2026! 

Undergraduate students who were unable to attend the course planning sessions or who would like additional support are invited to visit the Robertson Library computer lab (Room 264) from 4:00-6:00 pm. The Recruitment and First-Year Advising team will be available to help with course planning and answer any questions.

Flags on campus lowered to half-mast in honour of the late Hon. Mark McLane

The University of Prince Edward Island was saddened to learn of the passing of the Honourable Mark McLane, former Minister of Health and Wellness and Minister of Finance, MLA for Cornwall-Meadowbank; UPEI alumnus (BBA ’93); and UPEI Men’s Hockey Panther (1989–92) on March 17, 2026. He was a tireless advocate of health education; in particular, he supported the expansion of the UPEI Nursing program and the development of a Doctor of Medicine program on PEI.

Poet Lorna Crozier to give reading at UPEI (rescheduled from March 19)

Since the 1980s, Lorna Crozier, from Saskatchewan and British Columbia, has been one of Canada’s most popular and influential poets. An Officer of the Order of Canada and Professor Emeritus of Creative Writing at the University of Victoria, Crozier is cherished for her poems about the natural environment, women’s lives, human relationships, and the interplay among nature, human history and myth, and spiritual elements infusing existence and experience.
