Women’s History Month Celebration in the Robertson Library
Join the Honourable Paula Biggar, PEI’s Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, the PEI Interministerial Women’s Secretariat, and the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women to celebrate women’s contributions to Prince Edward Island History. The event runs Friday, October 27 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm in UPEI’s Robertson Library. There will be memory sharing at 4:00 pm and a casual reception with light refreshments. All are welcome to come and bring a photo, artefact, or memory to share.
Learn the "New" RefWorks: 30-Minute Workshop
The Robertson Library is offering an intro 30-minute presentation with further hands-on time on the RefWorks citation management system on Tuesday, November 7 at 2:00 pm in the LINC classroom of the Robertson Library.
This will be useful for students and faculty, whether you used the old RefWorks or are learning RefWorks for the first time. If you bring your laptop, we can help you set up the Word or Google Docs plugin following the main presentation. If you are unable to make these times but would like to learn about RefWorks, please contact Melissa Belvadi, mbelvadi@upei.ca.

Candidate presentation: Faculties of Education and Arts
The Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts invite members of the campus community - students, faculty and staff - to attend a public presentation by Tricia Logan, candidate for a multi-disciplinary tenure-track position in Indigenous Education. Presentations by candidates for this position will focus on issues of Indigenous Education being integrated in to the daily life, and work, of the University, and their teaching and program of research related to the areas of focus within the Facilities of Education and Arts.
