AIRS Challenge: Melody-On-The-Spot
AIRS (Advancing Interdisciplinary Research in Singing), in partnership with the ECMA, is proud to present 'Melody-On-The-Spot', a creative, improvisational contest in songwriting where individuals have the chance of crafting a new song ‘on the spot’ inspired by a choice of visual images provided by the AIRS research team: 1 minute to compose, and 1 minute to sing.
A panel of industry professionals will judge the recordings and prizes will be awarded to the top three winners.
First place prize: A year's membership to the East Coast Music Association
Second place prize: A $40.00 gift certificate to Long & McQuade's Music Education Centre
Third place prize: A bottle of champagne
We will be at the heart of the ECMA proceedings, in the Delta Prince Edward on the second floor, April 14th-April 16th, 1:30-3:30.
Two minutes to win it!
